10oz mushrooms
2oz margarine or butter
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1oz flour
1/2 pint fresh milk
1/2 pint chicken stock
Finely chop the onion.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Add onion and cook gently without browning or colouring to soften.
Finely chop the mushroom and add to the pan.
Continue to cook gently for 5 minutes.
Add the flour and stir for 1 minute.
Stir in stock.
Stir in milk.
(optional) liquidise in a blender
